Ynaira Hotel

Ariany sits on a hill in the Pla de Mallorca, has a good 800 inhabitants, a church, two bars and otherwise mostly quiet. That is exactly why we start our sternfahrt here: roll out of the Ynaira in the morning and after two bends you are among almond trees and dry-stone walls.

The house itself is a Mallorcan manor house from 1887 that the family has restored with a great deal of patience. Outside, old stone and wooden shutters; inside, 25 bright rooms, all facing outwards, many with a terrace and a view over the rooftops to the Tramuntana. Add a small spa area and a pool to shake out your legs after the stage.

Breakfast is generous and late enough that nobody has to rush. We meet you at the house on the evening you arrive, set up the bikes and go through the week together once. After that the village is yours. Our tip: the sunset from the church steps, looking out over the whole plain.

Who does the Ynaira suit?
