We are Uli and Stefan. And we are Rad und Finca.
Two people, one minibus, a few dozen bikes and the conviction that Mallorca is the most relaxing destination in Europe for a self-guided cycling holiday.
How it all began
On two wheels across Mallorca since 2010
Ulrike Mavro and Stefan Lindemann are the faces of Rad und Finca Mallorca. Stefan has lived on the island since 1992 and has organised cycling trips here for more than thirty years. Uli arrived in 2006, worked five years in tourism and learned two things: how to make guests happy, and how not to.
We are both convinced that Mallorca is one of the most beautiful, entertaining and above all relaxing places in Europe for a self-guided cycling trip. And because cyclists kept telling us they would rather stay in a finca than a beach hotel, we founded Rad und Finca Mallorca in 2010. If you do not believe it, just come and try.
And today
We started with one finca near Petra and one hub-and-spoke tour through the island’s heart. Today there are five cycling weeks, a dozen houses between Ariany, Artà and Alcúdia, a PetitHotel Tour with luggage transport and a minibus that travels the whole island. And still the two of us. If you call, we answer.

We know the island’s best-kept secrets and the loveliest finca hotels. Not the guidebook route, but the back road where you are more likely to meet a sheep than a car.
We pick up the phone
If anything happens on the road, you have Uli or Stefan on the phone, seven days a week. Sometimes we are in the bus, then we call you back.
Maps, GPX and arrows
You get maps and GPX tracks for every stage. On top, our routes are marked with our own arrows on the road signs.
Our bikes
They are a bit like us. Just less experienced. Reliable, sturdy, honest, with Mediterranean calm.

I came to Mallorca in 2006 and stayed. I plan your week, book the houses, write the offers and I am the voice on the phone when you call. What I love most: spreading out the maps with you on arrival evening and watching a booking turn into a journey.

On the island since 1992, on the bike for more than thirty years. I have ridden every one of our stages myself, most of them more often than I can count. I set up your bike, stick the arrows on the signs and drive the bus when you want to be picked up. And I know where to find the best pa amb oli.

You confirm
Only when everything fits. Then we book accommodation, bikes and transfers for you. See the accommodation

We pick you up at the airport. Maps, GPX and helmet are ready, the bike is set up for you. To the cycling blog

What guests ask us beforehand
There is no call centre. If you call, you have Uli or Stefan on the phone, seven days a week in season. Sometimes we are in the bus or on the bike, then we call you back.
Yes. The Sineu hub tour can be booked from one person, the other cycling weeks from two. In practice a group almost always forms on the first evening and sets off together, if you like. If not, that is fine too.
You enquire, we send an offer, you confirm. Deposit and final payment are stated in the offer; the exact terms and the protection of your payment are in our terms and conditions. Until then everything is without obligation.
Then we swap stages, move the beach day or you take the train to Palma. Rainy days in Mallorca are rare and short, and we always have a plan B in our pocket.
