Petit Hotel Algaida

Algaida is a village at the foot of the Puig de Randa, known for its restaurants and for the fact that people drive out from Palma on Sundays to eat there. The Petit Hotel Algaida stands right in the middle of the village: an old Mallorcan house, fully renovated, with nine rooms, the upper ones with a sitting room and mostly a fireplace.

Behind the house lies the garden with orange trees, a pool and a sun terrace. You stay two nights, and your luggage is already in the room by the time you get off the bike. On the second evening we will arrange a wine tasting for you if you like.

From Algaida you ride out one day to the beach at Es Trenc and back, and another on to Moscari. Anyone needing a rest day is well placed here: the Puig de Randa with its three monasteries is a walk away, and so are the cafés on the square.
